Responsibilities:
The purpose of this Analyst position is to perform the monthly close and financial reporting activities for
the Midstream business segment. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, account
reconciliations, management reporting, regulatory reporting, budgeting and forecasting for
assigned natural gas storage companies, LNG facilities and equity investments in natural gas
pipeline projects.
Functional Expertise:
Support monthly closing process for company owned natural gas storage and LNG facilities,
including preparing journal entries and performing internal control procedures.
Perform accounting for equity investments in various natural gas pipeline projects
Reconcile general ledger, accounts receivable, payable, inventory and imbalances.
Prepare monthly reconciliations of volume activity (source & disposition of gas) for each
storage facility.
Prepare regulatory reports for FERC, EIA, Texas RRC and La DNR.Business Acumen:
Analyze data and prepare schedules for management reporting. Perform variance analysis to
budget, forecast and prior year.
Identify trends and drivers of business and explain results to Commercial Operations and
Management.
Prepare various ad-hoc requests as requested by management.

Engagement:
Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with Corporate
Accounting, Commercial, Risk Management, Field Operations and other depts as necessary.
Preparation and communication of monthly management reports.
Driving Results
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of business results
Responsible for budgeting and forecasting for Midstream companies.
Responsible for preparation of quarterly and annual SEC disclosures for business segment.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and make recommendations regarding needed
changes and efficiency improvements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required:
BA/BS in accounting, or business with emphasis in accounting
5+ years accounting experience in the energy industry

Self-starter, self-directed with ability to work with minimal supervision
