A global leader in natural gas and crude transportation, gathering, and processing is seeking a Senior IT Analyst to add to their growing department. The successful candidate will lead a team of analysts in providing the organization with hands-on 2nd tier technical support for Oracle E-Business Suite applications.
Basic duties and responsibilities include leading and facilitating the analysis of technical problems and analysis of technical problems and questions applicable to data issues, workflows, reports and interfaces as applicable.
Second, proactively investigate potential system, procedure and/or policy problems; recommend improvement changes, provide guidance and initiate corrective actions, as appropriate, including providing quality assurance for the work of peers and less experienced colleagues.
Additionally, prepare high-quality and effective documentation in accordance with internal systems development lifecycle, application maintenance and project management standards (e.g., technical specifications, test plans/scripts, etc.).
Also, review and provide feedback on documentation prepared by peers, less experienced colleagues and contractors to help ensure completeness, correctness and compliance with documentation standards.
