Revenue Accountant – Oil and Gas Exploration and Production - 10089
A national leader in oil and gas exploration and production, focused on developing and acquiring producing properties in the Gulf of Mexico, has an immediate opening for a revenue accountant to add to their growing department. The successful candidate will book oil and gas revenues related to operated and non-operated properties in the Gulf of Mexico. Additional responsibilities include preparing oil and gas well allocations, preparing revenue spreadsheets based on pipeline statements and production reports and preparing MMS 2014 reports. Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 5 years of experience booking oil and gas revenue for onshore or offshore properties. Strong research and reconciliations skills are a must. Applicable backgrounds are 1) extensive energy experience in industry 2) solid knowledge of SAP-PRA, Excalibur, or OGSYS experience desired.
Senior IT Analyst – Oil and Gas Field Services - 23140
A global leader in natural gas and crude transportation, gathering, and processing is seeking a Senior IT Analyst to add to their growing department. The successful candidate will lead a team of analysts in providing the organization with hands-on 2nd tier technical support for Oracle E-Business Suite applications. Basic duties and responsibilities include leading and facilitating the analysis of technical problems and analysis of technical problems and questions applicable to data issues, workflows, reports and interfaces as applicable. Second, proactively investigate potential system, procedure and/or policy problems; recommend improvement changes, provide guidance and initiate corrective actions, as appropriate, including providing quality assurance for the work of peers and less experienced colleagues. Additionally, prepare high-quality and effective documentation in accordance with internal systems development lifecycle, application maintenance and project management standards (e.g., technical specifications, test plans/scripts, etc.). Also, review and provide feedback on documentation prepared by peers, less experienced colleagues and contractors to help ensure completeness, correctness and compliance with documentation standards.

This is an opportunity build upon existing experience in the most visible group in the company. Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in volume balancing and pipeline actualization. Strong reconciliation and Excel skills are desired. Applicable backgrounds are 1) extensive energy experience in industry 2) solid knowledge of TransEnergy, Gas Master, Altra GMS, or Openlink experience desired.
Application Support Analyst - Energy – Utilities - 23139
A leading national retail energy provider of wholesale and retail electricity and natural gas in the US is seeking an Application Support Analyst. As an Application Support Analyst, you perform duties related to the programming, testing and documentation of software applications. The successful candidate will assist in writing functional and technical application software specifications and perform maintenance and enhancements on installed systems. The position affords the successful candidate the opportunity to perform a full range of problem analysis roles, identification, analysis, solution design and solution implementation while working without supervision of those tasks. Basic duties and responsibilities include:
- Design appropriate system solutions, and translate business requirements into system requirements and set-up
- Setup or configure business applications to support business requirements
- Develop and execute plans for deploying applications into production
- Resolve and track escalated support calls
- Work under the direction of information technology management to troubleshoot and resolve issues in the use and function of the applications
Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 3 years of experience within a risk management and energy trading department of an energy organization. Strong analytical and communication skills are a must. Applicable backgrounds are 1) a bachelors degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems 2) a minimum of 3 years experience in systems development and/or applications support including analysis, design, programming, support and/or maintenance are desired.
